With a capacity to accommodate close to 100 people, Golden Country Motel & Caravan Park  offers visitors to Maryborough the perfect chance to get a good night's sleep.

Guests can choose from motels, cabins or caravan style accommodation, ideal for couples and families.

The park hosts are Ron & Chris Hocking, who live on site, ensuring guests receive friendly and efficient service. The 10 motel units have TV and DVD and air-conditioning access with remote control, queen sized beds, direct dial phones, ironing facilities and quality fitting throughout, as well as adjoining rooms, suitable for families. One room has wheel chair access to shower amenities. Golden Country Caratel also has eight cabins on site, and three new villas, featuring queen sized bedrooms with full ensuite, kitchen, reverse cycle air conditioning, television, DVD, along with a relaxing verandah. 

The villas provide independence and convenience with cooking facilities, yet do not compromise on the comfort of a motel room. A number of sites are available for caravans, each with individual toilets and showers. A laundry, games room, barbecue area and outdoor pool are provided for guest comfort and entertainment. We have recently built a Camp Kitchen for your convenience.  Set on two acres with shady trees, ample parking is available for vehicles including four wheel drives and trucks. The park is ideally located on the Maryborough Bendigo Road and is 40 metres from Maryborough Golf Club, where guests can enjoy a round of golf on the beautiful 18 hole course or a Same of bowls on the two bowling greens.

For a quality meal, Bunkers Restaurant is open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday evenings and lunch on selected days, Advice on the various attractions in and around Maryborough is readily available.
